LT-5 Low Temperature Matting Agent for Polyester/Epoxy Powder Coatings

LT-5 can be used with conventional indoor 50/50 polyester to achieve 160°C/15
minutes or 170°C /10 minutes curing while having cost advantages. It is a highly
competitive new low-temperature curing matting agent:

• New generation: New matting agent for Epoxy/Polyester powder coatings cured at
  160°C / 15min
• Convenience and simplicity: there is no need to use special polyester for low-temperature curing. The conventional indoor polyester can be used
• Cost reduction: The ratio of matting agent to epoxy is about 1:1.1
• Excellent anti-yellowing performance
• Good mechanical properties and leveling

Recommended powder coating formula based on LT-5:

Note:

The tested polyesters in the above formula include: Zhejiang Tiansong 5700,
Anhui Shenjian SJ3B / SJ3B-6, KHUA GH-1156, Guangzhou Kinte HH2583, Maple
1150, etc

• LT-5 : Epoxy ≈ 1:1.1
• The above formula is for reference only, since the performance of each resin varies
  according to the performance of the resin, the data here does not represent all resins, please refer to the experimental data.
• Avoid accelerators or catalytic pigments/fillers; they typically raise gloss and may
  impair leveling.

Application:

• Pre-mix and Co-extrusion [One-Shot Method]

Storage:

• Shelf life: at least 12 months @27°C.Keep dry, expired products can be used after passing inspection.
  

Safety and Caution:

• General powder coating safety regulations can be adapted for ZEHM products
• Unless otherwise noted, ZEHM products never contain any heavy metal elements,
  easy-flammable or explosive materials.
• Personal Protective Equipment [PPE] are required to prevent the powder from oral or breath adsorption and skin direct contact
• Any contaminated body parts should be suggested to the above formula is for
